I'd like to say thank you to everyone who made the June Phoenix Ferret Symposium such a success. There were some great sponsors who had some wonderful give aways and contributed some great prizes to the raffles. Thank you Ferret Depot (http://ferretdepot.com), Oxbow Animal Health (http://www.oxbowanimalhealth.com), Petfinder (http://petfinder.com) and Melatek (http://www.melatek.net). Attendees, if you received samples please let Oxbow know what your little guys thought about the new ferret treats. This is your chance to help make a difference by speaking up. Also, for those who have tried the HealX Soother Plus cream, please let me or the company (http://www.exoticdvm.com/heal-x) know what you thought. So far feedback has been very positive. If you are an SOS shelter and you would like a sample of the cream please email me. Some great items were available in the raffles and some of you asked about those and how to contact the authors or artist. For those who didn't make the event please be sure to check these out. The fundraisers held during each symposium raise money for The Emergency Love Fund (ELF) and the IFC general fund and that money is used to help ferret shelters and fund research. Thank you to those who donated items for the event fundraisers and to those of you who took part in the fundraisers.
