Memorialize a fuzzy that has crossed the bridge, celebrate the arrival of a new ferret in your family or simply donate to this cause to support Bob on our Virtual Wall - Many of you know and have followed Bob over the years......"Stinky Bob" when he came from the McKay rescue in full rut and was at the hight of his most beautious (cough) smell...... "Bob The Hob".....as his smell settled down and then "Big Boy Bob"....when he FINALLY learned to use the litter pan for something other than sleeping in! Bob is now 5 1/2 yrs old and weighs approx 4.6lbs. He had been adopted and had a home for a couple years but when his family broke up, he and his many brothers & sisters came back to The Ferret Haven. He quickly became half bald due to adrenal disease and just as quickly re-gained his fur through treatment with Lupron and Melatonin. Unfortunately, he continues to have urinary infections due to an enlarged prostate that is not responding well to drug therapy. Bob now lives in a loving "Forever Foster Home" with medical support from The Ferret Haven. Bob is scheduled for adrenal surgery on 5/24/11. He is one of MANY foster ferrets that The Ferret Haven supports with medical care while they live in loving Forever Foster Homes rather than being in a shelter. For as little as $10, you can "purchase a brick" on our virtual wall - the proceeds of which will go directly towards Bob's surgery. You will have the opportunity to upload a picture and post a message.
