It was a lovely day at de Bridge. SaraFerret was outside her cottage resting in her rocker when she saw Mimi, the little girl courier, fly up with a note in her paw. Mimi said, "Uh SaraFerret, we have a slight problem here, apparently a message was not delivered to you awhile back, say around a month ago, asking you to check on Miss Rosie's ferrets. We just found the message; we guess maybe it was misfiled or something." She handed me the note and I read it with some shock. Oh my, the message was from Christmas. So both of us headed off to check the Boss's Big Book of Ferrets to locate them. This Book was so heavy, but with both of us checking the names, we finally figured out where they were. We put the Big heavy Book back where it was sposed to be and went down the steps and on our way. We went through the rainbow-coloured daffodils and by the pink lilies until we finally reached Miss Rosie's Place. I saw a note on the door, "We are at the Otter's MudSlide." I told Mimi, "Now doesn't it just figure." So we flew this time over to the MudSlide and there they all were. All the muddy ones. This time I called names to account for them. "Hi all of you, I am SaraFerret, remember me, please let me know if Booger, Maxine, Maxi, Fritz, Pepper, Misty, Prince, Bear, Buddy Snowball, Shark, Max, Lady, Princess, Angel and Star are here. Your Mommy has sent a message and wants me to check on you and wants to know if you are all living in one place." All the voices shouted back, "Of course we are!" I said, "Well how about cleaning up and taking a dip in the Lily Pond and we will go and say hi to you Mommy." So off they dashed to the Lily Pond and cleaned up and put on their wings. Then we flew off to the Misting Pond and sat down beside the cool clear water and with one swish we saw the vision of Mommy Rosie and Dad Roy and Brother Michael appear. They all got so excited they started waving and yelling with all of their might. "We are all ok Mom and Dad and Brother. We were at the MudSlide. We are a merry group and have so much fun. Please do not worry for us." Then they began to throw hugs and kisses and laid them on a nearby shooting star which became very heavy which was headed to your house and by de time you should read dis it should have landed there. And with another swish de vision was gone. And so we left there and went down the road. We made a confession to Miss Rosie's group that the message should have been delivered at Christmas but as with all ferrets sometimes things get mixed up. But they said that was ever so alright, just as long as the message got through in the end. We were invited in for a snack. I was never so embarrassed in my time as a greeter.
