Friend of mine sent me this story
<http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1346384/Pet-ferret-bites-7-fingers-baby-boy-parents-investigaed-neglect.html>

I don't buy it. I'm thinking the ferret is being blamed for something
the parents did to this kid. And I'm more disturbed with the fact the
father killed the ferret by "slamming it into a wall".

What was a ferret doing roaming loose at 2:30AM? And if this baby was
in a typical crib - how would a ferret get up into it? And why on earth
would it just start eating fingers?

Ugggg this is going to set the attitude about ferrets back soooo far.
