To Our Generous Donors:

The new Rooftop Unit is installed and running.

Please accept the deepest gratitude of the Board and members of the
Greater Chicago Ferret Association for coming to the aid of the
residents of our Shelter.

As of June 11, the GCFA has:

- Sought three separate bids for installation of a new Heating and
  Cooling Rooftop Unit.
- Received sufficient funding to purchase and install a brand new
  Rooftop Unit.
- Submitted a deposit for this purchase and installation.
- Installed a second vent for the new portable A/C Unit for emergency
  cooling needs.
- Installed a new Trane 4-ton Rooftop Unit on Tuesday June 8.

The new unit is now providing a great deal more cooling than the
original 15-year-old unit. The ferrets and volunteers are enjoying the
comfortable environment. This is especially good timing as Chicago is
now in the high-80's and low 90's and the shelter is now caring for
nearly 90 ferrets.

Every dollar the GCFA receives goes directly to the care of the
ferrets; these donations fund the facility, veterinary care, food and
medicine. The staff and Board of the GCFA are all volunteers. Your
support is key to the continued successful operation of the GCFA
Shelter and the more than 6,000 ferrets it has housed, fed and cared
for throughout the past 22 years.

Again, please accept our thanks for your continued generosity. All of
the fuzzies appreciate it.

Sincerely,

Board and Staff of the Greater Chicago Ferret Association
