I have a person who is getting his fiance from Japan, and she has a ferret! They are bringing it to the US, but here is what is happening: Since United and American no longer allow ferrets on their planes, they have to take a direct flight and the ferret can go no further. The only place they can go are California and Chicago, and of course the ferret can't go to California! The problem is the couple lives on the West coast and will be coming here in the winter. They won't be able to do the drive in the snow with the ferret to their house from Chicago, so they want to find a ferret sitter in the meantime - from March 3 until April when the snow will be gone. If there is a kind soul in the area that would be able to help them and babysit the poor fuzzy until they can drive back, please let me know. I know when I tried a November trip through I-80 it was not pleasant and we were delayed several days by snow. I am not sure how bad it is during March? Thank you sincerely!
