The European branch of Virbac distributes it in an agreement with
Peptech. Peptech makes it. It may be that Virbac simply ordered enough
earlier, but Peptech did not expect the number of U.S. orders coming
in.

That may be a way to market it here in the U.S. since Virbac has been
here for something like 2 decades (located in Fort Worth).

As has been said, be very careful to NOT get the wrong product. The
NON-implant horse version won't last long in the body so it will worsen
things for the same reason that using 24 hour Lupron instead of a
Lupron DEPOTdoes. See: http://www.miamiferret.org/24hr_lupron.htm

Lupron and Suprelorlin (deslorelin IMPLANT) are in the same family of
drugs.
