Every year, I look forward to the Giving Tree. Not for myself but for those precious fuzzies that need so much. My heart is touched by all the stories and yet all the love that is poured out on the "dookers" to ensure a better quality of life for them. I have met a few shelter moms and dads and business people, but have met most thru email and am thrilled to get ideas, just talk and glean wisdom and enjoyment from you---and boy am I impressed. People like Liz & April of Totally Ferret, that go out of their way to help by sending food when money is really tight, or visit a shelter and be such an encouragement (Thanks Liz), People that have sent a medical care package at the right time (and didn't even know we really needed it); people that have sent money thru paypal at a time that we needed it the most.....people that have sent very, very precious cards.. encouraging us hoomans....a precious person that paid for a much needed "industrial strength" food processor (that sounds like a plane taking off..lololol) and has made this shelter moms life so much easier when having to make soup....a much needed phone call from a precious lady from Florida that was such a blessing and encouragement (especially since I had just lost my husband)....Money given on our vet bill.... and precious people calling up and asking if they could come over and help clip nails (all 2,180 of them---nails that is). Many many other things have happened that have touched my heart and helped. There's no need to be confused........just be you and help in anyway that you know will help the shelter.....just remember -- do it in love that comes from your heart....it makes all the difference.
