I am so excited for my Scooter Pi! A year ago a very wonderful lady
from Pennsylvania hooked me up with this wonderful vet running the
Deslorelin implant study to help control adrenal disease in ferrets.
Doc Wagner allowed me into the study with my three males. He and Jackie
will always be our heroes for their kindnesses, love and devotion to
ferrets.

I worked closely with my vet, Doc Gshrey, here in Rochester, NY with
ultrasounds and keeping him up to date with the study progress. Tressie
was also an important piece in the puzzle because of the important
contact information she posted on the FHL.

Tuesday, Scooter Pi gets her very own Des implant from Doc Gshrey. The
order was placed and received within ten days and the cost for us is
far less than Lupron, a Melatonin implant or surgery. No customs
issues.

My boys just celebrated their one year anniversary with their implants
and are doing beautifully with the most wondrous coats. Talk about
therapy ferrets. You just want to hold them and pet their soft, soft
coats.

Thanks to all those who share the information to help ferrets and
their owners do the best they can for each other and to all the great,
dedicated vets who make lives better for their patients and their
owners.

If you are interested in any additional information please contact
me directly and I will do what I can to help.

Doc Wagner has published the study in the June/July issue of this
year's Journal of Exotic Pet Medicine - you might wish to bring your
vet up to date with study information on Deslorelin implants.
