Are you interested in helping others learn about their ferrets? Do you want to help provide opportunities for your vet to learn more about our ferrets? Do you like to have fun while working with others? Do you live to stretch yourself to the limits? If so, keep reading! The International Ferret Congress (IFC) is looking for a few good (wo)men! As we grow from a small group of friends to a self-sustaining organization, we have restructured and are ready to begin the hard work of presenting the next event. Two coordinator positions are available and we are seeking the right people to join the current coordinators as we move the IFC to the next level. There are also opportunities to serve on sub-committees in specific areas. Job descriptions of the two positions currently open are found at the end of this post. If you are a team player, have the background in and/or knowledge of one of the openings or a willingness to learn, are willing and able to attend IFC events and have the desire to donate your time to help the IFC provide quality educational opportunities to ferret-lovers and veterinarians, we would love to hear from you. And, if you would like to give of your time, but are not sure a leadership position is right for you, let us know that, too. Please contact a board member at [log in to unmask] Thank you, and we look forward to hearing from you! The IFC Brief descriptions of the currently open positions: 1) Recorder The recorder will attend annual board meetings, as well as other IFC- related meetings and be responsible for making minutes of those meetings available to the IFC via computer.
