In Loving Memory of SUGAR 1/22/2001 06/27/2009 I am sorry I didn't put this out sooner but I have been so upset with her loss and also with Adam being so sick. I worry as to what will become of him. Then I was going to do it last night and I got on line to see that Sweet Charity died and it just was too much so I closed down the PC and went into the shelter room to hugs my kids and to let Theodore know he has lost his sweetheart that she has gone to join Mondo. On June 26th, 2009 we lost our beautiful shelter girl Sugar, She came to us in 2002 with 3 other cage mates and she out lived them all even the second set of cage mates that she was put in with like Harriet, Ruthie, and Mandy. Since then she had new cage mates and she was the first of them to go. We left her cage mates say goodbye to her and she will be burried with the others in a beautiful spot under the maple tree. Sugar was such a sweet girl. She loved everyone including people. If the ferrets that came in got along with her she was content to play with them and even let them live in her cage. She played with anyone that would not pick a fight. She was not a fighter just a sweet wonderful girl that we could put with anyone that also had a sweet disposition. Sugar never did get adopted because when she came in she had 2 other cage mates that she had lived with all her life. I didn't want to seperate them and I never found anyone to take the three of them. Eventually as her cage mates crossed the bridge she almost got adopted at age 4 but they decided that they wanted two of the others instead of her. Sugar was content to live her life here with us and she received all the love and care that my own personals do. Sugar became adrenal and inspite of the Lupron shots that helped some she became almost totally bald. Darlene C., was so kind as to send her three beautiful little shirts for her to wear. I had promissed her pictures of her in them but could never get them. I am sorry Darlene. You see everytime we put them on her and before we could snap the camera she got out of it. We tried the other two and the same thing. Her neck was just so skinny and so were her front legs that she just kept slipping out of them. I truly am sorry that I couldn't send you pictures of her in them. Thank You though for your kindness for sending them. I am sure one day we will have another one that will need them. Sugar was so special and we are going to miss her. REST In PEACE Our Beautiful Girl We Love You Sadly Missed Mama, Sue, Angel, Blitz, and Blaze. [Posted in FML 6387]
