After a courageous 3 month battle with lymphoma, I had to help my Trixie get her wings today-March 25th, 2009 at 4:15 pm. Bridgegreeters, please help her cross the bridge. She is a sable little girl , 3 1/2 years old-and she has the most beautiful brown eyes. She kept them open as she peacefully crossed, so that her Mom could know she was ok. She knew how much her Mom loved those eyes! She is the social butterfly, always quick to investigate , and loves people and fuzzy friends. She will be carrying a bottle of ferrettone, -you can never have too much-- a pink and blue rattle ball, and a squeaky clown fish toy. She would always dook away and lick her Mom's hands when that fish was squeaked, and her Mom always laughed. She also loved her Treats--Bacon Bandit was her favorite! Her Brother Ralphie will miss her, and the big fuzzy hunk sends with her his love, and a sock to stash too! He was always trying to teach her how to stash socks. Her Mom knows that her sister-Blossom , will be there to greet her. Blossom is a most beautiful sable-panda-blaze! Her Mom hopes Trixie understood that she did the right thing, as she didn't want her to feel any more pain . Her Mom knows that she was staying here for her, and that she will miss her terribly. She was the best girl, and she did everything right-and her Mom didn't want to let her go, but knew it was the best thing for her, and her last act of love to give. My heart is breaking, and I wish I could give her one last hug! My arms ache to hold her! I will miss her, and love her - always! Please let me know she is safe, and happy I need to know that she understood that I did the right thing. Priscilla Mom to Ralph Missing Blossom and Trixie at the Rainbow Bridge [Posted in FML 6283]
