When choosing to feed a raw diet, in order to gain the utmost benefit offer the meat on the bone; this allows the ferret to utilize their specialized teeth properly. -- Offering ground bones may offer them some calcium, but won't help their oral health. Without going into a huge presentation of what a RAW diet entails, you might consider rewording thusly: "To coincide with the obligate carnivore nature of the ferret, offering a variety of raw meaty bone sources and whole prey type sources will help offer the ferret optimal health. Another option is to offer the ferret a natural prey diet which entails offering a variety of prey sources from insects & invertebrates to various rodents, lagomorphs and small poultry which are offered in whole form, sometimes even as live prey."
