>From: willy-joos <[log in to unmask]> >I m allergic for 3 years now and in the 1 st year i ve been that sick >that i had a fever for over a half a year, still swallowing lots o >antihistamine and using ointments made of prednisone like stuff. One of the people who is allergic t ferrets that has NOT been mentioned is a BIG ferret advocate. Natalie Antinoff (http://gcvs.com/), ferret vet extraordinaire, is highly allergic. The day I went in with 11 ferrets to see her she was masked and gowned to avoid a flare-up, as she was having a particularly bad allergy day. It was also that day that another vet, her protege Dr. Tim Tristan, had a cancellation and assisted in the visit. He later moved to Corpus Christi where I introduced him to my current vet and he joined the practice! Small world! Oh, my daughter is also allergic to ferrets. Didn't know till she couldn't breathe! -- Renee Downs "Eventually we will realize that if we destroy the ecosystem we destroy ourselves." Jonas Salk "The most effective way to do it, is to do it." Amelia Earhart It's amazing how much can be accomplished if nobody cares who gets the credit!
