This is the part of the trip I dreaded -- the end of the trip and the mad dash to include as many people and ferrets as possible into the data base. In the last week or so, I have been to Poland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, back to Sweden, and I am now on my way back to the Jutland region of Denmark. Scandinavia will simply not let me go! ;-) Shortly, I will be in Hungary, then up to Holland, and then down to Italy. Only then will I be allowed back in the USA. I expect I'll be back home in time to dash over to the Buckeye Bash in Columbus OH. If I can make it, I will be talking about the trip experiences for the first time to a USA audience, what they mean, and how the lessons can be used to help our ferrets. Since I won't be speaking at the ferret symposium this year -- and most probably will not attend -- the Bash will be your best and first chance to hear about the data while it is fresh in my mind. I think I'll have a new powerpoint presentation done by then -- assuming I can keep my computer recharged on the flight home. This part of the trip is -- as expected -- physically and mentally exhausting. In Norway, I actually fell asleep in the middle of a sentence wile answering a ferret question! I have less than 2 weeks left and I hope I can make it without doing that again! ;-) In two weeks I can meet my grandson Ryan for the first time. And get to catch up with Heather and Elaina. I've been gone a long time and it is time to come home. Bob C [log in to unmask] [Posted in FML 6058]
