Hello, this is Susie Lee in, for and with the Ferret & Dove Sanctuary, Inc. in NW Florida. Besides all the ferrets already spoken of a few days ago who want their own homes, here's a few more who are living the shelter-life and waiting for homes of their own, too... * Dostoyevsky Dreamboat Ferret who came in with a curious-looking coat has grown it out some more to become a regular he-sable (no more funny-coat for Dos'! shootskies!) * Parisian Lady is living with the above-named fellow and is a shy, quiet, very sweet little chocolate. * DouglassFairbanks DEW Swashbuckler is One ferret who more than lives up to his moniker! I've had to holler him off of teasing the cats, though, because he tends to get carried-away with the ol' swashings of buckles. He's such a genuinely gorgeous DEW that you're inclined to instantly forgive him. * Mannie-Ah Blacksable, now re-named Maniauelito Ahab because he and Taz You're It Chocolate are NOT an "item" , has his own cage to himself and has grown to be among the largest large sized fellows. But he still answers to "mania" (mannie-ah) as the name he recognizes. * Delilah Delightful Ferret and Diamond Lilla are still wondering when their person will ever come for them. * Alouicious BigSable has settled his original over-weight with extra activity as part of a four-some in one of the two donated ferret nation cages. He's a ferret who likes getting along! All their pictures are on the pet list scrollers at the following two sites... http://ferretanddovesanctuary.petfinder.com= http://www.angelfire.com/theforce/ferret_rescuer.index.html And, finally, to TRY and pay off at least SOME of the hard-working vet's bill, our Sanctuary's raffle has just a very few more days to run (last day to get tickets is July 30th) and then the raffle winners will be drawn on July 31st. The winners will be announced here, and on the two above-given sites; also on this raffle site for four days after the drawing and then i have to take this site down before August 7th. http://ferretanddoveraffle.angelfire.com [Posted in FML 6042]
