Hmmm. . . reading all these posts stirred up a few old memories. Like being pregnant OLD! And being a new mom old! And, let's just say that now my daughter is a contributing member of society, so you know it was long ago! When I was pregnant, my daughter was lovingly referred to as "Peanut." Of course, back then we didn't KNOW she was a daughter, she was an "it." And, I was SURE it was a boy! NOT! "Peanut" turned out to be a quite active little girl who never slept enough for me to get my work done. And, aren't MOST newborns like that? Just as soon as you put them down to sleep, you go to do a chore you can't do while they are awake. And, just as soon as you finish and sit down for a breath, they are up and want to play. So, Alex, I understand that you, having only the returnable nephew, would not know that Georgia is just trying to get ready for the moments when she can no longer contain Peanut! And, if you are reading this at the computer, I have to assume it is in your blue mu-mu, wearing your flashing flip-flops with your red hair pulled smartly up through the tin cap, wondering where you put your kiddy lit book because your papers are flying around! -- Renee Downs "Eventually we will realize that if we destroy the ecosystem we destroy ourselves."
