Dear Roary- You have to keep in mind that Ping and Puma only have 800 square feet of home available to them, we live in a pine cabin in the woods, literally. It's not a lot bigger than a trailer. The thing is, they have pretty much destroyed all of the good stuff in it already. What remains is either no challenge to any self-respecting pigmy wolverine, or ferret-proofed, like the bathroom wastebasket with bricks in the bottom so that it can't be tipped. Now a lot of their romping or stomping involves checking 'their" property, to make sure it's still there. Sofas? Check. Cat food dish? Check. Dog's water bowl? Check. Motorcycle helmets? Check. (They make great nap sites!) Delicious smelling rubber mat in bath tub? Check. Chewy mouse pad? Check. Now, as it happens, I have a sturdy cardboard box used for shipping live chicks in the mail. I would be happy to send Ping and Puma in it to YOUR place for a few days. New territory! They would *delight* in trashing your home until like mine, there is nothing left to lay waste to. I have discussed it with them, and they look forward to the challenge. Just say the word. Alexandra in MA [Posted in FML 6002]
