I m back. I feel awful, of course.

Before my bad decision, Lucy didn't want to do anything but sleep. When
she went to pee or poop, sometimes she would fall over. She'd walk
right through her pee, and sometimes through a food dish, and she'd
begun turning her head away when we tried to fed her by finger.

After the prednisolone she began to eat enthusiastically again, s oI
thought i had dnoe the right thing.

Please, if you can help yourselves, no violent attacks. I made a very
bad mistake, and probably noone can make me feel worse. I thought it
might work as a last alternative to euthanasia.

We'll do a post mortem to see if anything is clear.

Anybody want to come up with $2000 for Dr Dawit's plane ticket so he
can take advantage of the invitations from vets to have him visit and
learn about ferrets and modern diagnostic and clinical vet methods in
general? Well, that's mostly a dumb joke. One of those wishes for
something so frustratingly out of reach right now.

Time to call Dr Dawit and tell him about Lucy.
