I should never post in the wee small hours of the morning when my
brain is beginning to shut down LOL.

We took in our first rescue Cleo, in early May of 1998. Her bald
cagemate had been thrown out in the snow to die, during the previous
December (1997). The way I wrote the post, it sounded like she was
thrown out in the snow in MAY. It made no sense at all.

Cleo was with us for five wonderful years--and it was because of her,
that we are HAVING a tenth anniversary here at Zoo`s. With Merry &
Benjamin`s help, she showed us just how precious ferrets could be--
and convinced us to devote our lives to ferret care & protection.

I wish we could have saved her cagemate...

Love,
Zoo
