I have a 12x15 outside enclosure attached to the house for the ferrets.
I share my home with some of the beastiest ferrets thought to be
polecat hybrids), which I lovingly refer to as Hades Guardians, and
they will target other ferrets and be relentless so before letting
these ferrets out of their cages to exercise I try to find the victims
and safely tuck them in the bedrooms behind plexiglass barriers.
Sometimes I miss one or two or they jump the plexiglass.

If they run out into the enclosure and a fuss ensues, the wild birds
listen intently because.... their plan is to imitate the exact sound
of a ferret in distress. I firmly believe the birds sit up in their
trees giggling everytime they make me come running outside to see who
is fighting, which by the way is NUMEROUS times...

Now if they'd just screach at the neighborhood cats like that they'd
probably scare them off...
