7 years (and 3 days) ago, i started my little ferret-pod by getting Mollie for my 23rd birtthday. She lived with 4 other ferrets, outliving one of them, and was the light of my life. On Christmas eve this year, she started acting sick. The last year of her life was a constant battle to keep weight on her, but she was a pretty happy, peppy gal until she wasn't, on christmas eve. We were all at my parents' house, so, at 10pm on christmas eve, I called my vet to tell him she was doing poorly. We met an hour later (its a far drive.) and came to the conclusion that there was really nothing we could do for her. So a few minutes after midnight, we let her go. She was the love of my life. And still is. A little while later I started selling handmade, vegan, cruelty free soaps. (That smell delicious!) And when it came time to name them, it seemed obvious that they would have to be named after my girl. So White Weasel Soaps was born. So, if you like handmade soap, if you like to know that no animal products are used, and you like your soap to have a wrapper with a cute little weasel on it, look no further! http://whiteweaselsoaps.etsy.com for more on mollie: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3NubdxAWd5Y [Posted in FML 5945]
