And, what about the 10% or your show participants that do not test? The ferret who has not been tested and could be positive is a greater threat to ferrets then the ferret who is known to have ADV. At least if you know the ferret has ADV, you can quarantine it. Again, my advice to people who love their ferrets and care about their health and safety is to avoid taking them around any other ferrets who have not been recently tested and can show a negative ADV test result.
