Hello,

We lost our hob, Grissom, on the 3rd to renal failure. Although we miss
him alot, we are glad that his suffering is over and he is playing at
the bridge.

Here is the thing: since his death our two other males, Sir Didimus,
age almost 3, and Monk, age almost two, have become more aggressive
toward their three sisters, and play with them almost viciously.

Now Grissom was not the alpha; Raja, my oldest female, is. In fact,
Grissom had been sick almost since we rescued him last June, so his
play was gentle at best. Still, is this a way for the two boys to
obtain dominance? Both are healthy, active hobs and have never shown
any sign of illness. Ideas and advice would be appreciated. Thanks in
advance.
