Greetings and Happy Holidays from me and all the furkids!!!!! I join all the positive, "cup half full" people in thanking Kris for his effort with the Giving Tree. I've known Kris for a long time and he's a very dedicated and conscientious man. Good grief, people, leave the man alone & let him do what he's doing. Thank You to the wonderful Secret Santas. Granted, the ferrets don't know Christmas from any other day but to me, the kids on the Tree remind me of the unwanted toys in some Christmas movie I saw once (was it The Toys That Christmas Forgot???). I can't express the warm fuzzy feeling I get knowing that people care for these little guys & girls. Thank you so much. Thank You, BIG, for what you do here on the FML. I started reading the FML in 1996. I use to print it out at work & read it during the day. It was not unusual to have someone catch me crying in the Break Room while trying to get thru the Rainbor Bridge section. BIG, the FML has given me an extended family I treasure thanks to you. When I find myself referring the FML to newbies, I tell them "The FML is like the "Daily Prophet" of the ferret community. I use to reference the FML to the Detroit Free Press until the Daily Prophet got more recognition. FYI ..... an update on the DMK kids ...... neuters/spays begin January 14. It's time, boy, these guys are ripe, believe me. Snickers, Hamilton & Mocha ..... Toby, DQ & Cassie .... Mason & Peebles .... have all been split up. The boys reek and have been marking everything. Hamilton has been the worst. His bedding is ALWAYS gross & stinky. I have 2 small air cleaners going in his room and I'm glad jar candles have been on sale at Meijer. The aroma of cinnamon buns is so much nicer than "eau de ferret". Last nite, I put an empty gift box down on the floor for the ferrets to play in. Buddha & Cocoa didn't bother with it last nite. This morning Indy came out. I was washing a few things in the kitchen & he sauntered in completely covered in styrofoam beads. Under a paper layer in the box was a little sheet of styrofoam. He demolished the sheet of styrofoam. I've never seen a ferret gloat better than Indy does. I had to bring out the Dust Buster and vaccuum him off. Merry Christmas. Happy Holidays, everyone. Be safe.
