Hi Bill, Did you think I had dropped off the face of the earth. No I sure haven't. You are a great moderator and have weathered many storms, many of which I won't name. But you have been so brave and courageous and haven't booted any of us off yet. So on this special day I would like to award you the special prize-- Someone left an extra halo and a pair of wings on my bed this morning--now I won't say who, but I will say they are for one very special moderator. They are made of gossamer and this littlest angel promised dat she would be making a trip to visit you with dem, so don't be surprised if this elusive one shows up when you least expect it. You can't ever tell about those fuzzy angels. On another note, I would like to thank those who sent kind notes wishing me well. My health is not the best, but I am not in the hospital as one sad soul thought. No time to do that, too many ferrets. I work as a shelter volunteer with our shelter and have what one person calls my "nursing home" for special needs ferrets. But they are all so special. Elderly, sick, and tempermental little souls still need homes and I am it. For the woman who wrote me an email questioning if there was an afterlife for ferrets: there is a beautiful post in the FML archives dated November 4 2003 (right after SaraFerret came here), entitled "Ferrets at the Bridge" by Ronald Sims. He was a minister. It was and is the most beautiful post I have read on this list. Whether you believe it or not is up to you. It gives great purpose to the reason for the bridge greeters. (I am sure Bill can tell you how to access the archives of that date, as its a violatin of the law to copy it in its entirety. To another person who wrote and requested a place where she could read past SaraFerret greetings, they are also collected in the archives. You are not allowed to copy the posts in the archives but you can read them. These begin in Nov 2003 and end in Nov 2007. For the new bridgegreeters please feel free to use any part of my greetings (with the exception of SaraFerret's name which is COPYPROTECTED). Use the wings and halo, the entrance, the goofy ways, the misting pond, the naming of the living places, please continue these if you wish, as they belong to the bridge. I was given these messages from SaraFerret and they belong to the new greeters. To Bill and to all the new greeters, I wish you 20 more years of anniversaries. I know a little fuzzy will enjoy watching it all from the Rainbow Bridge. Always SaraFerret's Mommy [Posted in FML 5827]
