>HSUS is not anti pet. Neither is AHA. Peta has a significant number >of members that ARE anti pet. Actually the Animal Rights movement IS anti-pet. You would be more correct in saying HSUS and PETA are anti-pet organizations with a number of "members" who don't realize that is what they are supporting. HSUS presents themselves as more of an animal welfare group but if you do your homework you can find that they are an AR group and they are often involved with PETA. I would suggest anyone confused about the AR agenda visit this message board http://www.animalsuffering.com/forum/index.php?f=2&sid=bcef36b04055c02d0dbd085a9478ce78 It is a place for supporters of the Animal Rights movement to discuss different topics. You will find topics about favorite AR groups (HSUS is mentioned quite a bit), about keeping pets, animal liberation, eating meat, the future of pets and other AR hot topics. It is a good resource for those unsure about AR, since the people in the discussions are AR supporters - right from the horse's mouth as they say. nikki [Posted in FML 5757]
