Cascade Ferret Network's 6th Annual Ferret Awareness Day July 22nd, 1-5pm Oregon Humane Society 1067 NE Columbia Blvd Portland, Oregon On July 22nd the general public is invited to "Ferret Out a Friend" by attending Cascade Ferret Network's Ferret Awareness Day, where they might discover a new two-legged ferret friend or be charmed by a rescue ferret and grant it's wish to find a new home. This year the event will have an Arabian adventure theme. Find out how to give a ferret a magic carpet ride, watch the ferrets "belly dance", look into your future with a ferret tarot card reading, or try your luck at getting a wish granted by the "jinni"! The following activities will be a part of this free admission event: Jinni "grant a wish" game Shelter ferret playpen Expert ferret vets for discount exams Raffle of donated ferret related items Auction of unique ferret items New and used ferret merchandise for sale Themed photo op for you and your ferrets Ferret health talk by Dr. Katrina Ramsell Belly dancing and ferret tarot card readings The Cascade Ferret Network's Ferret Awareness Day is a fund-raiser for this privately funded 501(c)(3) tax-exempt ferret shelter that focuses on providing high-quality care for ferrets by using a network of temporary foster homes.
