[Moderator's note: Perhaps a little harshly put, but the dog topic IS
running for longer than I expected.  When we have a light FML -- which
has been often lately -- I think it's nice to entertain a little banter
to help each other and I have no problem continuing it, but please 
let's remember ferrets are the primary topic of the FML!  BIG]
