> http://www.geocities.com/dancinweazel/index.html Petey TPO has brought the FML many memories over these years. He has raised a lot of money for variou causes such as SOS and invited us to have great fun while doing it with his TPO club! Kathleen, some of the photos did not come up for me. Were any of them the famous ones from the Petco ads? I didn't see one of my favorites ... that silly boy in the burrito sized sleeper. How he got his fat butt (when he was younger) in a sack barely larger than a sock, I have no idea. I hope you will be adding even more photos sometime because Petey is quite a character. I am grateful that you did this for all of us. I'm sure it was very painful for you to do so. My neatest memory of Petey was when Robin first got him. Back then she had mostly very elderly and ailing rescues. She hadn't enjoyed a youngster in a very, very long time. She was running a mini ferret nursing home. When Petey crossed her doors during a rescue, many of Robins' friends saw her fall in love with him. Being such a dedicated rescuer, she was painfully still going through the rescue process for him and was thinking of him first. She didn't realize that the best thing for him was to stay at that time. I'm so glad that Robin listened to her heart (and her friends) and kept that little guy. He has been living a rich spoiled life every since!! Sadly they all have to go. I've never had the opportunity to hold Petey, but my son Chet did it for me. Robin, thank you for sharing him. I've enjoyed being part of his life through constant photos, movies, and snail mail packages from him. As a matter of fact, I recieved a photo of Petey TPO from Sarah M's recent visit there. Its' a very sweet photo of her holding the little old guy. [Posted in FML 5600]
