Barn-y Update Our new kid Barn-y is doing better - he is filling out and his activity level is getting longer! I would like to thank Mary Conley for sedning some herbal remedies I believe have helped him through his liver deficiencies, anxiety etc. I am adding turkey baby food into the shelter gruel which has immune system boosters and I believe these are helping him rally well and bulk up. Barn-y received some great bedding and babies from Mary and from his grandpa John R who sent him some dried blueberries and other treats and toys. Barn-y is becoming a spoiled little boy. Now that the worst is behind us we hope with Barn-y -- a new NEW face will be coming through our doors tomorrow afternoon. Although I have not seen her I have already dubbed the small gal "Destiny". She is a YOUNG path Valley ferret kit age 3-4 mos who was sold out of a Pet shop in Western Ma and was returned a short time later due to biting issues. She was back-roomed in this pet store for a while until we got word of her. According to Donna S at the Educated Ferret who is holding her for us- she is an angry angry little ferret who draws blood with a vengeance aiming for wrists and fingers. SHe has upturned her litter box and food bowl and is showing the world her displeasure! SO she will get her first long playtime tomorrow afternoon here at FerretWise whiel we start evaluating her behavioral management program. Welcome Destiny-- your world is about to get better! We have some special items on ebay this week- tee shirts on sale, ferret prints ready to frame, foamy fries etc. Please check out our auctions to help us get a good start on Destiny's health check, ADV testing and transportation.
