Most people know Alicia of Ferretwise as a very special shelter Mom. Not only does she take in and rehabilitate needy ferrets, educate the public on ferret welfare, but continually works on legislature to improve conditions for all ferrets. Many of you may not know that she is also a gifted artist. I have been lucky enough to see many of her gorgeous landscape works in person. They are breathtaking. You can check them out (and purchase prints!) at http://www.earlysunrisefineart.com/ Alicia occasionally puts her brush to canvas to create wonderous ferret pictures. I don't know if it comes from her sensitive soul or from being close to so many special ferrets over the years, but she captures such spirit in their faces and light in their eyes. A new one of hers is amazing and very touching, especially as I'm reflecting over the loss of my little Baby fuzzgirl. It's called Gwendolyn Fairyferret Touching Down, and she's beautiful. To me she is more than a fairyferret, she is a magestic angel from the bridge. It is heartwarming to see her face, I picture her watching over my fuzzgirls above. I am lucky enough to own a print, and you can to! You can also purchase a set of the cards and share her magic with others!
