They've gone to pet stores several times. But there are two places that they REALLY enjoy-- Every year Rutgers has an Agricultural Field day. I've taken several to that and they LOVED it. They love the smells of the other animals, the other animals leavings, and all the fuss that is made over them. I had one little girl go nose to nose with a horse--both of them were trying to figure out what the other one was! One boy rolled in something in the sheep pen....he shared his stink that day with the others, and all of them had to have a bath. LOL! One boy was sniffing at the nose of a pig who was lying down. The pig snorted and they both jumped back. They also love going to Renaissance Fairs. They love the attention that they get from the people, and meeting friendly dogs. When I take them to these two places, I have to bring Ferretvite to keep them nourished.... they are too excited to want to eat regular food. It's impossible to go more than two steps before another person spots them--"Oh look! A ferret!"
