I know this may sound crazy. A couple of years ago, I discovered a very good Ferret Bite Deterrent, which is in just about everyone's kitchen cupboards. When I mentioned the item, in a few Yahoo Ferret Groups, some people thought I was kidding them. But, after a few Ferrents tried the item, they were quite impressed, by the way it worked. Nami (No-Nama Furo - No Name Ferret), one of my female Marked White Ferrets had a vicious habit of attacking my shins and doing the Ferret Death Shake. The first time Nami got a taste of the Ferret Bite Deterrent, she released her bite. Not to be dissuaded, she tried again, only to release and shake her head. Now, before she goes after my shins, she sniffs first. If she smells the Ferret Bite Deterrent, she backs away. Okay, now that I have everyone's attention, the Ferret Bite Deterrent is White Vinegar. Just apply a small amount to your ferret's favorite biting spot. If White Vinegar is not available, Pickle Brine will work, just as good. Smiles, Arlena Ferrets Rule My World!
