I am so glad that William ran this, and that Ted Turner is helping native species like the Black Footed Ferrets. >Complete text at: > <http://money.cnn.com/2006/10/03/news/economy/pluggedin_gunther_bison.fortune/index.htm?postversion=2006100406> Should anyone be interested in trying TT's bison to help those conservation ranches' bottom line but a bit afraid, don't worry. Bison is similar to beef but more flavorful -- like the best steak you have ever had. It cooks faster so leave it on the heat for shorter time and you will find it more tender than most steaks if you do that, too. It is naturally very, very lean, so very low in fat and cholesterol, and it is higher in a number of nutrients than beef. -- Sukie (not a vet, and not speaking for any of the below in my private posts) Recommended health resources to help ferrets and the people who love them: Ferret Health List http://www.smartgroups.com/groups/ferrethealth FHL Archives http://ferrethealth.org/archive/ AFIP Ferret Pathology http://www.afip.org/ferrets/index.html Miamiferrets http://www.miamiferret.org/fhc/ International Ferret Congress Critical References http://www.ferretcongress.org [Posted in FML 5387]
