Marilyn wrote about cooking skinless breasts for feeding to ferrets, and commented that it was very simple to fix. I've got a recipe that I've been using for whole chicken that is really easy, and gets all of it: Take one WHOLE chicken from the store (including organs, etc.) and put it in a crock pot in the morning with enough water to cover. Leave it cooking for the day. If you have a meat grinder, run EVERYTHING (bones included) through it. Then blend that with the remaining water/fat from the crock-pot. If you wish, you can add some powdered kibble, brewer's yeast, or other additives. The whole batch including pouring it in ice-cube trays, and cleanup takes me a little over 1/2 hour to prepare, and lasts me around a week. Cheers, Kevin [Posted in FML issue 5333]
