If everyone will go and vote for Gage all month and drive his numbers up way beyond everyone else's and then if he is not declared the winner it will be obvious. So far, all the support he has received, and I assume it is from the ferret community at large, he has been in the lead for 3 days. There is a very pretty mule that is giving him a run for the money, but so far he has stayed a bit ahead. I was going to post 2 more times, middle of the month and end of the month, asking for support. But in light of the question of honesty of the contest I hope many, most, all of you can go to the site several times and vote a 10 for Gage and drive his average score up real high. I will be watching everyone's score everyday anyway so by the end of the month I'll know how far ahead he either is or is not. I'll let you all know the first of September when the contest is over. BTW FYI there are over 300 other photos in the contest. And I haven't looked yet, but I'm thinking Tonks is the ferret who WANTS HIS BIRTHDAY CAKE! and yes that picture is beyond adorable. He was the only picture of monthly winners so far that I saw that I thought would give Gage a problem winning for the year - oh heck.. he's the one I thought would win annual and knock Gage out.. LOL. Please consider helping Gage, the rescue, and all of us finding out if this site is straight or well -- not so straight... http://www.animalattraction.com/PhotoContest.asp?PhotoID=5792 Vicki Vicki Montgomery Tricks and Treats Rescue Greater Houston/Galveston Texas 713-472-6599 [log in to unmask] [log in to unmask] "Until he extends the circle of his compassion to all living things, man will not himself find peace." ~ Dr. Albert Schweitzer [Posted in FML issue 5325]
