It's evening in the McFarlane home, and the Crew of Merry Mayhem is busily sending messages to each other, via runes carved into their food. The cats can hear them giggling, and AT is almost hit by a piece of flying kibble. He spins around to find Galadriel standing by the cage door, eyes gleaming, kibble in mouth where she caught it in mid flight. Her eyes dance with delight and mischief, and suddenly she flings her head, the piece of kibble sailing to the cage next to her. "Pssssttttt, Muffin, wake up!" Kibble goes flying into the cage where Muffin lives with her group of girls. "What the, who did that, who....." Muffin looks up to see Galadriel smiling at her, laughing actually. "Read the runes and pass them on" Galadriel whispers. This scene is repeated with different size kibble flying all over the room to all the groups, and in some cases, Cheyenne, Delilah and Chopper get Puck the cat to help carry the food that falls onto the floor. Puck pauses, looks at the food trying to decipher the runes. He finally gives in to the natural curiosity of a cat, sits down in the middle of the room and looks at the ferrets. By now they've all quietly gathered, each group watching the cat with bright, interested eyes. "Puck----Puck, can you decipher that message?" This is softly called by Arwen, the oldest of the group, and the wisest. "Try, Puck. See what you can make of it." Meanwhile, Pepper paces up and down, giggling and repeating "silly cat, he won't be able to read it!" Puck puts his head down, moves kibble around and then slowly says, "Robyn Ant, August 2006." He looks up, cocks his head to the side and scratches his chin. He looks at Arwen with his blue eyes and asks: "What's a Robyn Ant?" At this all the ferrets collapse into hysterical giggles, some hiccuping. Suddenly Pepper yells "Straighten up, Momma is coming!" To be continued.......
