AHA! That's what that was! I remember when something pretty solid went past the house really fast during one of the more grandiose deluges we have had...it was Marilyn LeDoux's driveway! It went by so fast that I really couldn't get a good look at it as it made its way south from New Hampshire to Connecticut, passing by us here between them in Massachusetts. We've been seeing a lot of New Hampshire float past, lately, on its way south to the ocean. The State House from Concord made a really ugly grating noise as it went by. Well, I guess it's to be expected. The cupola *is* 150 feet tall. Maybe I should say *was.* It was really pretty, anyway. I'm expecting to see Alicia Drakiotes get washed past our house any day now on her way south from what used to be New Hampshire. I figure first I'll se a lot of painted canvasses and hammies float by, so I'll have a little warning. I'm planning to poke a long stick into the river that used to be our street as she goes by, and fish her out. We're keeping coffee on the hotplate Alicia, and dry towels ready for you, when we snag you. No worries! I'm sorry though, we don't have room here to store the town of Keene, so you are going to have to find some other place to have your monthly ferret meet ups. I'm going to try for the Lindt chocolate outlet in Keene, though, when it floats by. We *were* going to ty to hold onto Laconia, but the Bikers left it in pretty bad shape after Bike Week. Sorry.
