Do you guys know those rare people who take in these complex cases of fur babies with seizures and vomiting and probable heart worms and stuff oozing out of the intestines through sutures and just all kinds of medical maladies? They are nurturing nurses. I am not one of those people. Biters I can handle. ...if they do not bite to the bone. I have the adrenal/heart disease/insulinoma/ulcerated old guys on multiple meds. But who doesn't if you have enough years with these little guys? But the mess of sick babies Dook-Nook agreed to take in with so many health issues from a group that rescued the animals from a sub-human who had a number of animals dying or dead, is something I could not physically handle. This is in addition to all the other ferrets there. It appears that another twelve ferrets may be headed for the sanctuary of Dook-Nook. The lady who runs it has paid for emergency vet bills for the rescues instead of the mortgage this month. The ferrets she just took in are still in bad shape. And another 12 need shelter. Please...IF you can... send a check...even if it is for $5.00 to SOS with a note that the money is for Dook Nook IF you would be able to assist this shelter? Or bid for something on ebay from SOS for this shelter? We cannot afford the closing of yet another ferret shelter. Or if you have any special ferret items to put up on ebay for this shelter, please notify SOS. SOS needs us to help them to help the shelters. Thank you very very much for your time.
