>I would like to know of someone who makes hammocks and maybe a cube. >I looked on e-bay but I don't know which ones are for sale to benefit >shelters or rescues.I have three new ones but they are lined in phony >sheep skin which I am finding shredded all over the cage. We have had to do that by hand. We didn't do it due to the mess, though, we did it because we had a ferret who had a "fur"ball that turned out when checked to actually be mostly made up of fake sheep fleece (not polar fleece which barely sheds). Two surprise benefits of covering the fake fleece with sheet material are that the bedding cleans more easily with less lint in the washer and drier catchers, and the beds last longer. -- Sukie (not a vet, and not speaking for any of the below in my private posts) Recommended health resources to help ferrets and the people who love them: Ferret Health List http://www.smartgroups.com/groups/ferrethealth FHL Archives http://ferrethealth.org/archive/ AFIP Ferret Pathology http://www.afip.org/ferrets/index.html Miamiferrets http://www.miamiferret.org/fhc/ International Ferret Congress Critical References http://www.ferretcongress.org [Posted in FML issue 5239]
