I'd like to challenge everyone to post a ferret care tip or two to share with the group. Some of what might be obvious to one might not occur to another. These tips could be play tips, ferret-proofing, handling, socializing, etc. I'll start. :-) When ferretproofing, remember to put a thin piece of trim over the toehold underneath the cabinets, and make sure furniture is either flush against the wall or pulled out far enough for a ferret to safely get by. Ferrets think if their head will go in a space the rest of the body will follow. Not true. Many ferrets have larger (of fatter) bodies and they can easily get stuck. Moose is of German descent and he is the opposite though, his head is bigger than his body and huge compared to Marshall ferrets. hugs. tle [Posted in FML issue 5211]
