LOL! Honestly, I think the problem is that recently the FML members have started being treated like they were prey! People here are intelligent enough to look up BOTH (or every) sides of any discussion, so I personally think that it is time for people to give others a break from the diet stuff. Some of it doesn't have clear calls whereas some have more clear info such as the kidney problems that can happen with large numbers of raisins. People who read each side then make up their own minds, but knowing that there are considerations on each side they also realize that information on the topic is very much in flux. There is no reason to go around in circles again on any of those topics; it's kind of silly, I think. Facts are not popularity contests, they are carefully garnered reliable information, not settled by anyone's works, but preferably when possible by careful study (preferably double blind) with controlled variables and more, or by epidemiological data, etc. People who missed recent issues can use the SEND FERRET nnnn feature mentioned in the header, and for older things can use the FML Archives and other resources. So, no reason for anyone to repeat on these several issues.
