Just so folks know, I don't have any unusual knowledge for someone who has been around ferrets for a long time; I am just pretty good at looking things up so have done that for a number of ferret people and even some vets. For a while, though, I will continue to not have a lot of spare time, so prefer that people try themselves to find their answers or do the best thing by asking their veterinary experts on health issues and the list members for the rest. A lot of people here have great info, and no one can beat a ferret veterinarian for health info. That is why I wrote my "Oh, no!" post. -- Sukie (not a vet, and not speaking for any of the below in my private posts) Recommended health resources to help ferrets and the people who love them: Ferret Health List http://www.smartgroups.com/groups/ferrethealth FHL Archives http://ferrethealth.org/archive/ AFIP Ferret Pathology http://www.afip.org/ferrets/index.html Miamiferrets http://www.miamiferret.org/fhc/ International Ferret Congress Critical References http://www.ferretcongress.org [Posted in FML issue 5222]
