took zipper to the shelter at 10 am -- wanted no part of that scene or any ferret there -- picked cheyenne since she was harmless and jsut seemed to want to be friends -- let them bond for an hour at home -- he was frantic there -(zipper only ferret - 1.5 yrs old ) now after a couple of play hours together today this eve late -- its -- it s 1 am == im exhausted - they are exhausted -- must have about 750 miles ont he llittle bodies now after chasing each other up and down the hall -- a lot of hissing ( zipper) and dook dook dookin -- (cayenne) but no big fights -- put them in the same cage -- zip in open hammock and she took his royal enclosed hammock at top of cage -- i decided - to merge them -- its his house after all -- threw him into the enclosed hammomck -- silence --then whimpering -- then hissing -- then whimpering louder -- then nothing -- then small whimpers -- then his head sticking out -- then nothing -- then just movements -- then a slight whimper --just checked -- 2 heads in there -- no noise -- straightened blankie (t -towel really ) for them -- no one left the hammock - she seems snuggled on bottom - he seems still unsure but exhausted on top -- head near opening :):) in case he has to bail because the women goes crazy :) she is older than he (stunning beautiful ferret (older women that look hot ) -- cayanne and cagemate were giving up due to work took too much time and couldnt care for them properly -- hmm 64 hrs plus a week for me and they get plenty of attention -- can we say LAME --- she was born aug 03 and he in nov 04 == so she is robbing the cradle or at least taking it over ;) heard a noise -- its 1-13 am == zipper is now eating on the bottom level -- ill see where he goes with a full tummy ;) if he is a smart man -- back on top of her :) its 1.20 am -- shes crashed -- he is still eatin --ok its 128 am -- he went to the second level hammock -- i found him a blankie a covered him -- gave him a little neck rub night night and did the same for her on level 3 in his enclosed hammock - both turned on there backs and legs in air -- hardly reponded to my touch --its time for DEAL OR NO DEAL -- : ) --ill leave my door open to listen -- otherwise at 10 am we will see what they are/have done --- neither will bite a hot biscuit so i dont think they will fight -- and they have communicated with some hissin and dookin -- so its all good -- at worst there could be blood spots on necks but i dont think either of these 2 even know how to give them...so tomorrow -we should be a rump sniff or treat sharing (a raisan and a friend makes a great day ) experience away from a happy family of four !!! yeah === more doo-kia later 1:34 am and all throu the house not a soul was stirring not even a mouse or ferret ;) and to all a good night Eddie [Posted in FML issue 5187]
