This bill is in the last stages YOU need to be heard NOW. AT 11 AM Thursday it will be on the floor of the Senate committee. PLease advocate in support of this bill via email. This bill will provide if adopted - refunmds up to the purchase price of the ferret ( cat or dog) for veterinary expenses by the pet stores! The 20 day from date of purchase will likely cover exposure to viral contagions (canine distemper) which take 18-21 days to manifest from time of exposure. We need this to protect purchasers for the ferret which was purchased in good faith, to make breeders & distributors accountable for the health of the animals(product), and to cut down on the need fo shelters to take in anad make healthy young kits and their consumers who should have been afforded the consideration of health and safe transport. IF YOU ARE A NH resident - or have shopped in a NH pet store - please email the senate members on the commerce committee RIGHT AWAY. Thank you Alicia D.
