I could use some help from "the masses" out there, please :-)

I'm trying to locate a poem (or a variation of it) that is basically a
short story about the "start-to-finish" process of the making of a
teacup. The version I remember reading tells the story of a woman (or
couple) that walks by an antique store window front and spots a beatiful
teacup inside. She inquires about it from the store owner who then
narrates how the tea cup came into existance and how metaphoric it is
to our own lives. . . .

It's designed as a metaphor of sorts to show how a lump of clay is
majestically transformed into a beautiful teacup through a series of
"fires" it must endure baking in an oven - much like the 'trials (fires)
of life' we humans must endure in order to strengthen us and refine us
before we become a beautiful finished product at the end of our lives.

I had a paper copy of this at one time and lost it somehow but absoutely
love the symbolism about it so if anyone knows where I can find a copy of
it, PLEASE PLEASE email me directly at [log in to unmask]

THANKS! Jennifer and the dynamic duo, Sasha & Snowball :-)
