My first ferret, Swiffer, found me - she turned up on my porch and got
caught in my humane trap which was out to catch a young Tom cat causing
problems in the neighborhood.  She went unclaimed, so she joined the
household.  About 6 months later I decided to get her a ferrety friend
and contacted Miami Ferret Rescue, who helped me find Carl who was being
fostered and looking for a forever home.
