Of the 13 that Jeff and I have been owned by, 6 are/were from pet stores
(mostly in the beginning) and 7 are/were resues/adoptions.  Including the
last 3.  Justin was no longer of interest to the teenager who owned him,
Daisy (at only 6 months old) was dropped off at a local pet store, and
Princess was found in an apartment which  did not allow pets.
