As ONLY the ferret world knows I am the descendent of a long line of Sukie Creatures, all of whom bear some of her marks but none of her abilities. She was once sunken by a curse into a Scottish Bog but went on living. Between the tannic acid in the bog turning all her skin to leather, and her great age adding to her wattles (one of the features shared by all Sukies at some point in life) she developed the ability to fly by using her wattles as wings, once a ferret raised her from her imprisonment. Ah, to be able to fly like she does! >But what evidence do you have to offer that the under garments stolen >by ferrets are then sold to the underpants gnomes? While spelunking a cave mentioned in the Ferret Histories I encountered one of the Underpants Gnomes stashes, and there -- on its own little red velvet and gilt throne -- was a blue pair of underpants, embroidered with stars and the words "property of the Oracle". On the waistband were telltale canine marks. Obviously, I don't dare photograph such evidence or FLO might realize how much the Two Legs know. I guess i COULD have assumed that the gnomes are stealing from the ferrets, but I know who is actually smarter. For those who don't know the Oracle. She is Wolfy's twin and the true FML psychic, telling the future by use of a Ferretone filled cauldron. Once in the past two very important and well missed ferret members of Alexandra's family stole both the cauldron and the Oracle's hoverwagon (which operates on a by-product of the Oracle's bean diet). They tucked Todd in the cauldron and set off. You can read about it in the FML Archives (in the header of every day's FML). Everything on the Internet is true, right? As to WHY Wolfy's ferrets are making her think that something is a snake, I have NO idea. I must have blinked. Opps, this will use up my day's posts. Don't just KNOW that now Alexandra and some others will join in with wisecracks when i can't say anything!?! ;-) Well, I'd better copy this to Wolfy before I send it. That surely won't increase any of the winking and good natured banter... [Posted in FML issue 5025]
